Key Focus:


This is an exciting position on our international sales team that will be responsible for supporting our business development activities in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), helping grow our market share and profit in key markets, expanding our distribution network, and developing relationships with Key Accounts based in the region.


This position, based in Sevilla, Spain, will report to the EMEA Territory Manager, with continuous coordination with our sales team based at NRG’s headquarters in Vermont, USA. The successful candidate must achieve the goals of the Sales department plan that are in line with company values, culture, and philosophies. Given the global nature of our business, an ability to effectively interact and communicate verbally and in writing with a diverse customer base is needed. This person is also expected to maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that encourages harmony with customers, management, and peers from across the company.


Primary Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

- Work closely with Territory Manager for EMEA to accomplish sales support functions:

     o Help build competitive proposals

     o Negotiate best terms o Coordinate with HQ in Vermont

     o Order confirmations

- Business development responsibilities in designated EMEA markets, including identification, negotiation and business activities with new and existing dealers and end customers.

- Identify appropriate contacts in the industry and manage relationships

- Help build sales opportunities portfolio

- Coordinate dealers, including organizing product/company introduction seminars together with the Territory Manager.

- Support EMEA Territory Manager and Wind Plant Optimization Sales Manager in relationship with Wind Turbine manufacturers (OEMs) and operators (Wind Plant Optimization Business)

- Assume coordination of international RfQs and Tenders

- Implement and follow sales procedures in coordination with sales team in Vermont

- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction

- Collect market feedback/intelligence and coordinate potential actions and product improvements with marketing team

- Help implement market strategy as indicated by management


A strong technical and business aptitude, in addition to excellent communication skills, will allow the successful candidate to establish direct relationship with end customers and Key Accounts and positively impact our collaboration with consultants and influencers of the industry. This position will also have an opportunity to help identify and develop areas for recurring, profitable business in EMEA.




This position requires some experience in the Renewable Energy market having worked in sales and business development activities, preferably in multinational and multicultural environments. A track record and contact network in the industry is desired.

- Minimum BSc (Technical Engineering degree). MSc (Engineering) would be a plus.

- Strong business skills and demonstrated success in selling products and/or services

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

- Ability to work well in cross-departmental teams.

- Ability to manage responsibilities independently

- 3+ years of experience developing sales or marketing opportunities preferably in Renewable Energy industry - Professional and dependable manner.

- Willingness to travel up to 20% - 40% annually. Travel consists primarily of tradeshows, conferences, seminars and mainly customer visits

- Language skills: fluent Spanish and English are mandatory. An additional language such as French or German would be a very strong plus.

- Computer Skills:

     o Advanced skills in MS Office (mainly MS Excel) o Experience with CRMs

     o Ability to work with different data file formats and analysis (TXT, CSV, etc.).

     o Skills in technical/engineering software and remote communications would be a plus
